The recent NUCA Leadership Conference in Savannah, GA, provided valuable insights, resources, and opportunities to strengthen our chapter! NUCA National provided Bill Pawlucy, a renowned consultant and instructor in association management who covered topics including Strengthening Board and Committee involvement and tools for how artificial intelligence can be leveraged to enhance association operations and member engagement.
On the second day of training, chapter leadership and Executive Directors delved into a comprehensive session on policy governance, which included providing tools and strategies to enhance chapter governance. Sheri Nowlan, the Executive Director of NUCA of Eastern WA & North ID and a fearless leader, was acknowledged for her contributions to one of the most successful Dozer Days events held nationwide.
During the conference, Executive Directors had the opportunity to collaborate with NUCA national representatives to address critical needs, including a Centralized Materials Repository, developing a Resource Manual, and Enhanced Communication Channels.
This conference underscored the importance of professional development, resource sharing, and collaboration in advancing the goals of NUCA at all levels.
