The governing body of the NUCA of Eastern WA & North ID Chapter is the Board of Directors, which has the responsibility for leading the direction of the Chapter’s activities and programs, including setting the Chapter’s policies, determining how the Chapter’s budget is developed and spent, and coordinating with the Association on Chapter partnership programs and administrative functions.
Leadership
NUCA Chapter President Mat Haneke
Mat Haneke currently serves as board president for the NUCA Chapter of Eastern WA & North ID. He has been involved with the chapter since the inception in 2017.
Mat currently serves on the committee for the annual Dozer Day event and the committee for the Regional Pavement Cut Policy where he represents our memberships interests.
Mat is currently the senior estimator for Wm. Winkler Company, which is a 102-year-old family-owned company that focuses on civil construction, structural and flatwork concrete, curb & sidewalk as well as trucking. He has worked in the construction industry in the Pacific NW for 28 years for a few different companies with duties ranging from labor, operator, estimator, superintendent, and project manager. Mat's experience ranges across many fields from; heavy civil, concrete, underground utilities, and telecommunications.
Mr. Haneke has worked hard to advance our chapter helping to develop the next generation of our work force as well as helping to educate/assist our current work force and membership.
