The event boasted an impressive lineup of guest speakers, each bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to the forefront. Dan Buller, the Director of Engineering Services for the City of Spokane, shared valuable insights into the city's strategic plans for upcoming projects. Erica Amsden, an accomplished engineer and project manager, shed light on innovative approaches, while Robert Lochmiller, CIP Engineering Manager from the City of Spokane Valley, discussed the city's vision and key considerations. Becky Spangle, a professional engineer representing Spokane County, provided a comprehensive overview of county projects, addressing potential challenges and solutions. Dan Wells, Deputy Director for Capital Development at Spokane Transit, discussed the transit agency's role in shaping the local infrastructure.

Additional Business of the Day

One of the "other" business of the day was announcing our new board members. There were returning members President Rick Oliver from NPL, Jim Majesky of PayneWest, and Mat Haneke from WM Winkler as well as new board members: Marshall Sampson-Inland Infratstructure, Justin Hauge-Copenhaver Construction and Mark Gunderson-Badger Infrastructure Solutions. We were also pleased to be able to welcome new members North Fork Enterprises in person.
