In a dazzling night of cards and camaraderie, NUCA hosted its 2nd Annual Poker Tournament, raising the stakes not only in poker but also for the Next Generation Scholarship fund.
👏 A Night of Impact: Beyond the poker tables, the real winners are the aspiring students benefitting from the Next Generation Scholarship fund. Every chip played and every re-buy made contributed to shaping the future of the construction industry by investing in the education of the next generation.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants, sponsors, and volunteers who made this night a grand success. Together, we've shown that when the construction community comes together, we can build not just structures but also opportunities for future leaders. The Next Generation Scholarship fund was the biggest winner of the night, thank you to everyone who came and played cards for a cause!
🏆 Top Prizes: The competition was fierce, and the stakes were high as players vied for the top prizes. Congratulations to the winners of the three largest chip pots at the end of a thrilling four hours of strategic gameplay. Their victories not only earned them prizes but also contributed significantly to the scholarship fund.
Left to right the winners of the night were coming in at 3rd Place Ben Gausnel who was an NPL guest, 2nd Place Bryan Anglin from Ferguson and the "card shark" of the night placing 1st was Jason Blair from Badger.
🍻 Cheers to New Additions: Adding an extra layer of excitement, this year's tournament introduced the "Beer Babes" a fun title for some amazing volunteers that we could not put this event on without!! Our "beer babes were a dynamic team ensuring everyone's spirits were high, both at the tables and with a drink in hand. Their presence added a refreshing and enjoyable element to the night. It kept the action moving by making it so that our players did not have to take a break to grab a beverage or buy more chips. Thank you ladies for your invaluable participation!!
