🚧 TRENCH RESCUE OPERATIONS 🚧

The NUCA Eastern Washington North Idaho Safety Committee is offering members and guest a 1–2 hour hands-on trench rescue training presented by Tyler Severy from DP Nicoli to help crews respond quickly and safely to trench-related emergencies on the jobsite.

This practical field training covers trench hazard recognition, incident size-up, emergency action planning, bleeding control techniques such as tourniquet use and wound packing through Stop the Bleed from the American College of Surgeons, safe lifting practices, and victim extrication procedures.

Through real-world, jobsite-based exercises, participants gain the knowledge and confidence needed to stabilize an injured worker and manage the situation until professional rescue personnel arrive. This training provides valuable safety education that helps protect employees, strengthen jobsite preparedness, and reinforce a culture of safety across the utility construction industry.
